Introduction to polyurethane

Polyurethane board (PUR) is a kind of polymer containing more carbamate group characteristic structure on the molecular backbone. It is a kind of polymer material between plastic and rubber. It has large elongation, wide hardness range, large formula adjustment range, excellent wear resistance and mechanical properties. And casting polyurethane elastomer (CPUR), three of the polyurethane elastomer processing type is important, the dosage of PUR quantity 6 o %, it has a chemical structure diversification, viscosity, easy to adjust, excellent processing technology, easy to put into industrial production, the advantages of convenient use and fast curing, therefore very suitable for the production of large, complex components. Polyurethane wear-resistant lining board is produced and processed by casting type polyurethane elastomer technology. Polyurethane (PU) is a kind of polymer which contains amino-ester type repetitive structural unit in its macromolecular chain. It is called polypolyurethane, polyurethane, PU or PUR for short. PU is a product of polyisocyanate and polyether or polyester polyol in proportion.

Performance of PU elastomer: The performance of PU elastomer is slightly different from that of PU elastomer synthesized by plastic polyol. Polyester type PU has high mechanical properties, good oil resistance, but poor water resistance. The low temperature resistance and hydrolysis resistance of polyether PU are better than those of polyester type, but the oil resistance and mechanical properties of polyether PU are slightly worse.

Mechanical properties of PU: The hardness of PU elastomers varies widely, ranging from A10 to D80, and the elongation at break is as high as 600%~ 800%. The high Shore hardness of rubber is only A70, and the elongation at break is 550%. The tear strength of PU elastomer is 2~ 5 times larger than that of rubber. PU elastomer has high resilience and good shock absorption effect. The wear resistance of PU elastomer is 3~ 10 times that of rubber.

The characteristics of

1. Wide hardness range. It has the elongation and resilience of rubber at high hardness. The hardness range of polyurethane board is Shaw A10-D80.

2. High strength. Under the rubber hardness, their tearing strength, tearing strength and bearing capacity are much higher than that of universal rubber. At high hardness, its impact strength and bending strength are much higher than plastic.

3. Wear resistance. Its wear resistance is very outstanding, generally within the range of 0.01-0.10(cm3)/1.61km, about 3-5 times that of rubber.

4. Oil resistance. Polyurethane board is a kind of strong polar polymer compound, and the affinity of non-polar mineral oil is small, in fuel oil and mechanical oil almost not eroded.

5. Oxygen resistance and ozone performance.

6. Excellent vibration absorption performance, can do vibration reduction, buffering effect. In the mold manufacturing industry, instead of rubber and spring.

7. With good low temperature performance.

8. Radiation resistance. The radiation resistance of polyurethane is very good, and it still has satisfactory performance under the radiation dose of 10-10 ge.

9. With good mechanical processing performance. (Turning, milling, grinding and drilling are all acceptable).

Reaction

1. All -OH are closed with diisocyanate, forming a large diisocyanate with polyether, polyester or polyurethane in the middle.

2. Curing reaction.

3. polyurethane prepolymer should be stored in a cool and ventilated place, not in the sun, in the iron bucket or plastic bucket, to seal, do not leak, can not randomly open the closed cover, closed cover should be opened at any time. Often open and closed prepolymer, the surface of a layer of skin, that is after the opening of the cover, water in the air into the surface of the prepolymer, isocyanate reaction results, producing carbon dioxide and urea. At present, MOST OF OUR POLYETHER POLYOL and polyisocyanate production technology is introduced in Japan, the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom and other places, compared with the former development of our own polyether polyol and polyisocyanate in quality assurance. The storage period of the prepared prepolymer is almost the same as that of the prepolymer produced abroad, which is one year.

In the storage process of polyurethane prepolymer, the -NCO in the prepolymer reacts with the groups containing active hydrogen such as urea-group and carbamate in the prepolymer, so the content of -NCO% is analyzed at any time when applied.

4. The influence of physical structure.

5. Dielectric properties

Polyurethane products with excellent dielectric properties, and wear resistant lining board half conductivity, need the product itself has to do in this way can the discharge process of a large number of static charges release, otherwise static charges too much contact with a lot of dust in the feed, will probably have dust explosion, caused by accidents, to the port enterprise to bring the huge losses.
