Electrode Preparation



Furnace to sinter raw active material (Cathode & Anode)





Milling Machine to mill material to smaller particles





Mixer to mix active, conductive and binder material into paste within vacuum





Viscometer to measure the viscosity of the slurry with better coating effect, And record it, so that the battery slurry can be used in the next experiment, The material is adjusted to this viscosity.





Use the slurry filter device to filter out the slurry not less than 124μm





Coater to coat paste on current collector and attached Heater used to dry it





Rolling Press (Calendar) to roll the electrode to reduce thickness and increase density.





Vacuum Oven to bake the electrode to drive away moisture inside





Cell Assembly



Disc Cutter to cut single coated anode, cathode, and separator into disc shape





Move the Electrode, Separator and Electrolyte, Coin Cell Case into the Glove Box (H2O and O2 less than 1ppm).





Assemble the batteries in the order of stacking from bottom to top and inject Electrolyte (Negative Case > Spacer + Appropriate Amount of Electrolyte > Metal Lithium Sheet + Appropriate Amount of Electrolyte > A Layer of Separator + Appropriate Amount of Electrolyte > Positive Electrode + Appropriate Amount of Electrolyte > Spacer + Appropriate Amount of Electrolyte > Spring > Positive Case).
